Today we slept in. Last night we had a lazy Friday evening where we read and tried to watch a Jets game on my phone, then crawled into bed to watch El Chapo on Netflix. I didn’t last very long. Learning Spanish is hard work. My mind gets very tired.
But today is a Saturday and we have no Spanish class and so we’re just sitting on the roof terrace eating breakfast in the sun. It’s heavenly. Here’s what our heaven looks like.

Angie has decided she’s had enough of Spanish class so she’ll spend mornings drinking coffee on the roof terrace. This is what we look at from the terrace.

Yesterday I took a photo of Maestra Clara in the middle of an explanation. I didn’t get the concept she was explaining but I do now have a photo.

And here’s the lesson. Let me know if you have any tips to help me understand and remember.

Thought of you this morning Walter with a spade of gratitude as i was rounding our improved trails thanks to you. It was sparkly, sunny and cold.
We now know what Maestra Clara looks like. To me she looks like a patient, good natured person. Tips for learning a language – the only thing i know for sure is to have a young brain. I was 5 or 6 when our family moved from Canada to Germany. I thought the transition to another language happened almost seamlessly.
Enjoy the rest of your day off.
